Agency Representation Case Study
Vantage manages Agency representation function of Fortune 1000 after HR staff downsizing.
Situation: A Fortune 500 client required staff augmentation in its EEO department, resulting from an increase in claims filed brought on by recent downsizing and reductions in force.
Goal: To support the EEO department by managing up to thirty (30) EEO claims annually, reflecting claims based on all protected classes and situated throughout the country.
Process: Upon receipt of each charge of discrimination, Vantage received two pieces of information: the charge itself and the HR representative contact information. We managed the entire process, including:
- Interviewing and fact-gathering with client staff,
- Obtaining and reviewing relevant documents,
- Interfacing with agency investigators and representatives,
- Preparing the position statement and/or response to request for information,
- Recommending settlement possibilities, including mediation.
- Representing the client in all meetings and conferences, including the fact-finding, settlement and mediation conference, and
- Preparing client witnesses for thee conferences.
Results: To date, all claims have been managed successfully and to completion.
